Years of fighting for money in the field of poker

I still can’t believe I’ve been cashing in on poker tournaments every year for fifty years. When you make poker your life for more than half a century, you make it a very exclusive club.

I have to admit, playing poker for a living has cost me my personal relationships; just ask my five wives.

But back to poker.

I often think of poker players who are poker pros one day and leaving the next. I have seen hundreds, if not thousands, come and go. I often wonder, “Where are they going?” “Will they come back?” The same question is asked in the scientific program “Ancient Aliens.”

A perfect example of this phenomenon is the duo Mark and Steve who played a $ 10 / $ 20 limit hold’em poker game in Las Vegas around 1976-1978.

I guess they have a bankroll of $ 200,000 each and are considered the gods of poker on the rise. They are super aggressive, young players who seem to have a different approach to the game. Where most players happily win $ 300 in a single game, both will win $ 2,000 on multiple games visit WADUKPKV.

But as soon as it came, it left. A few years later they both returned to dealing poker in Las Vegas.

I’ve seen players win $ 1 million over a year or two – life-changing money – and go bust. One player I know has done it a few times, but he’s been the best limit player for thirty years.

The players who can bounce back are true professionals, and those who can hold onto a huge bankroll for years are superstars. They are very few. I am not a money management steward, but his poker life is good for me.

I often wonder if I have a patent on Omaha poker, am I going to write this article?

Probably not.

The poker life usually forces you to do other things to keep up with the swing. That’s why sponsoring and working in the poker industry has helped me and countless others weather the inevitable storm.

Some invest wisely. One player wins two tournaments and buys a poker club in central California. Pretty smart about him, I think.

At the poker table, we often joke about this player or players we haven’t seen in years. We’ll laugh and say that he missed the flush and disappeared.

When you run poker well, it’s a tremendous achievement, but how long you can stay in the game depends on many factors.

Players know when watching some of these poker doodles whether they are real or just pure luck. They can often tell if a player has talent or one-hit magic.
